Close to VCU's campus, this area is full of college students and therefore full of coffeeshops, great little restaurants, bars, boutiques, and parks. VCU is on the east end of the fan, so stay west if you like your streets quieter. Great for dog owners as there are so many parks and grassy medians for your pup to play. Cheap rent in historic row houses/duplexes is common.
