 Overview (edit)

Canyon Gate Country Club is one of the premiere neighborhoods in Las Vegas. This golf course community is very pricey, and you’ll be paying for the beautiful views of the 18-holes of championship golfing. While you maybe be able to rent some of the smaller town homes in the community, buying a place in this gated and secure establishment will run you anywhere between $200,000 and 5 million dollars. Canyon Gate has done a fabulous job creating ponds and waterfalls within the community, along with tennis courts, private event and dining halls. If it is a higher standard of living you are looking for, Canyon Gate is a suburban oasis just waiting for you.

Camden Canyon says they care about the residents but look what they make their employess do Hey Bobby, just wanted to let you know that I have be informed by management that we should not have residents as “friends” on our personal Facebook pages anymore. They want us to keep a professional relationship with residents. Just wanted to give you a heads up so you knew why I "unfriended" you and knew this was not personal. If you need anything please contact me on my work email tcarmona@camdenliving.com. Thanks Bobby

 Hood Wiki

You will find a lot of the who's who of Las Vegas living in Canyon Gate--everyone from elected officials to casino executives.

There are plenty of places to eat, relax and socialize around Canyon Gate. Directly across the street from the west end entrance is a shopping center that includes a movie theatre, pub and a fine dining Italian restaurant.

Canyon Gate will not be on the list of most affordable living choices, but you will get what you paid for here. The average rent in Canyon Gate will be close to 2,500.00 a month, and that will only pay for one of the smaller Spanish style villas. While the rent is much higher than most places in Las Vegas, the quality of life is extremely high.

Las Vegas' mass transit system has a few bus stops in the area, if you are looking to leave your vehicle at home. The Canyon Gate community itself, has much smaller streets than normal and parking can be a little tight in some places. However, if you are near the country club or any of the recreational facilities, there is plenty of parking there.

If you are looking for a higher standard of living and looking for amenities, then Canyon Gate will be at the top of your list. You will pay high rental prices, but the quality of life is very good here and you'll love the wide-open spaces.

Most of the homes in Canyon Gate are very conducive to having pets--the yards are very good size. Should you choose to rent one of the smaller sized townhomes, you will give up the big yard, and therefore a large dog wouldn't work well.

Between the 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, basketball and community center, you'll find plenty of recreational options. In addition, Canyon Gate is only miles away from the Red Rock Recreational Park, which offers great hiking, mountain climbing and picnic areas.

This community is located between West Sahara and West Charleston Boulevard, allowing you excellent choices when it comes to shopping options. Less than one mile north on Rampart Blvd., you'll find Boca Park--this has in recent years become a popular spot for those who like to shop. Restaurants are in the plenty throughout this area of town, so the only trouble you will have is deciding what you want to eat!

There are two grocery stores in the neighborhood and plenty of banks in the area--Bank of America has a branch right across the street and West Sahara and West Charleston have over half a dozen different banks. Gold's Gym is located a few miles down the road on West Sahara and if you want to drive a little further, you'll find a 24 Hour Fitness Center and a Las Vegas Athletic Club.

There are a couple of High Schools in the area, and the adjacent community has an Elementary School and Middle School. If you are looking for a church, you will find many options in this part of town. This part of Las Vegas also has a large number of parks, so if you have kids, you'll love this area!
