Denver is a gorgeous city with 300 days of sunshine a year. Of course if you like the rain, the sun may get to you after a while. It's also considered the thinnest and most highly educated city in the U.S. There's a unique blend here of ruggedness and metropolitan sophistication. The arts community thrives with it being a town with the highest contributions per capita to the arts. There's an Opera House, museums, and the second largest performing arts center in the U.S. This is also a great place if you're into skiing and other outdoor sports. In addition, Denver is one only 3 American cities that has a team representing the 8 major sports. As far as living in DTC, you can find some reasonable deals on apartments. And you can get around so easily in this land of pedestrians. Also, if you like living in business districts with an ambiance of cubicles and board rooms, you'll like this hood. If you want a more eclectic style, you should go elsewhere.
