 Overview (edit)

Seminary Hill is a very residential neighborhood in Alexandria, just a short drive from 495 (the Capital Beltway). This is a quiet neighborhood, and would be good for small families, young professionals on a budget, or people who are looking for a laid-back, convenient neighborhood. Seminary Hill is very suburban, meaning that it would be convenient to have a car if you lived here. Most of the restaurants and stores are on the outskirts of the neighborhood, on busy roads that might be harder to navigate as a pedestrian. The closest Metro stops are Braddock Road and King Street, so if you'll be commuting to work by rail, many apartment buildings in this area will offer a free shuttle during rushhour. Seminary Hill is a good neighborhood to consider if you don't need to be in a busy, urban neighborhood, but you still want to be within a few minutes of shopping and restaurants.
